In the Summertime...

 I just read about a school in California that cost over $100 million to build and will now just sit there for everyone to look at. Because of lovely budget cuts, the school district can no longer afford to actually open and run this pricey school. Apparently $3 million is just too much to ask of the California school district. Why was this school built in the first place? To help out a nearby school that was overflowing with children. Now not only do the kids get to stay in their crowded hallways, but now they have a lovely new building to stare at and wish they were inside of.

 Its weird though....People think of California as a sacred place where everyone is made of money when in reality, their economy is just like that of my college town home. The only difference is instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars to build new schools, we are having to close schools that are just not quite up to par. Personally, I bet the schools are just fine. The district just needs to find some reason that is believable so those nosey parents will keep their mouths shut. So what if other schools will become more crowded and children become more restless?

 When it comes to that California school, I don't see why they don't just move all the kids over to the new building and let the old building just sit there for awhile. In my town its not right to get rid of some of the older buildings, but in wonderful California I doubt people actually care about memories and tradition. If you can fork out that much money to build a school, you could at least make sure the building actually gets used. The school board doesn't look at the future, but instead insists on focusing on the upcoming year only. This means there is no way to actually tell if this new building will ever be used. How's that for your economy California? I guess this is going to be the new fad they throw at everyone. I can see the signs now, "Build one School for the Price of Twelve!". The best part? You never actually have to use the building! The catch, however, is that you have to make everyone believe the opposite. Lets's just get every one's hopes up and then crush them with the massive building that will now just eat away at your paychecks without anything in return....

There is nothing quite like sitting at home, alone, and listening to music so loud the neighbors possibly can hear. This is one of my new fav. songs to blast REALLY REALLY LOUD!

In the Beginning....

 I'm not completely sure what people expect me to talk about in these posts so I think I will just be all over the place.

 Right now I think I will be the angry teenage girl who usually gets her way. Also, I've decided that at the end of each post I will add a link to whatever song I feel like. You can click on it if you want, copy and paste it to your browser, or just let it be. I don't really care.

 Today I heard some guy from Jackass died in a car accident...how impressive. You make a living off of making yourself look like a fool and how do you die? A freaking car accident. I hear those movies are pretty popular, but I myself have never seen one. For me, this is weird because I watch A LOT of movies. Funny movies, sad movies, awful movies they never should have made, etc. Jackass, however is too much of a waste of time, even for me. My friends, at one point, even took the time to add up how much money I have used to pay for these movies over the past year or so (I save all my ticket stubs)...it came out to over five hundred dollars. I could use that money for many other things like shoes or concert tickets I knew I wanted but never thought to save for. Heck, I could have put it in the oh-so-trustworthy bank and kept it until some crazy expense came up at the last second. Who am I kidding...I like movies (and other pointless things) to ever use my money on anything else. And I love that fact. Too much of every one's time is wasted wishing they had done something different. That dead Jackass guy is probably regretting some things right now, but what can he do? He is no longer living and when he was living he was only known for being an idiot. Not exactly something I would take pride in. I especially have many of those "I really wish I wouldn't have done that" moments, but for once it is nice to know there is at least something I would never do differently.
